Never pay outside escrow
If a supplier asks for a direct bKash transfer, stop and report it. Money moved outside TakaBachan cannot be recovered.
How escrow works
- 1 You fund escrow Payment leaves your account but the supplier cannot touch it yet.
- 2 Supplier ships Dispatch proof and courier tracking are attached to the order.
- 3 You inspect Seven days to check quantity and quality against the listing.
- 4 Money releases You confirm delivery and the supplier is paid the same day.
Common questions
Scams we see most
- Pay-me-direct discount A supplier offers 10% off for a bKash transfer outside the platform. That order has no escrow, no proof and no recourse.
- Advance for a sample Genuine suppliers on TakaBachan send samples against an escrowed order, never against a personal transfer.
- Off-platform contact swap A new account pushes you to WhatsApp before quoting. Keep the negotiation in chat so the record survives.
